New Coaches

Apex Wrestling School Welcomes Three New Coaches!

Continuing in our commitment to provide our athletes with the highest level of coaching and support, Apex Wrestling School has hired three new coaches.  The additions to the staff are: Aliaksandr “Alexander” Karnitski, Joe Crecca and Craig Frost.

Alexander has been competing internationally in freestyle for over ten years.  He is a two time University World Champion, representing Belarus, and took 8th at the 2006 World Championships in China.  He has top ten finishes in some of the toughest wrestling tournaments in the world including: 2008 Olympic Qualifying tournament in Poland, the European Championships, the Dave Shultz tournament and many others.  He has defeated multiple World and Olympic champions and medalists including America’s Stephen Abas, twice.   Click here to see videos of Alex in action!

Another exciting addition is Joe Crecca.  Joe is a former Edge wrestler and team mate of Coaches Damion Logan, Erik Norgaard and Dane Tabano.  Joe is a University of Pittsburgh graduate where he competed at 125lbs, placing 5th in the EWL Conference in 2000.  As a competitor at Blair he placed 3rd at the NHSCA Senior Nationals. While at Blair he placed top three in: the Ironman Classic (3X), Cadet Freestyle Nationals and the National Prep Championships(3X).  In total he recorded a career record of 147-27 at Blair.  Coach Crecca will be at our Kenilworth location.

The final addition is Craig Frost.  The former starter for, Division I Franklin and Marshall, was a three time place finisher in the state of New Jersey, placing as high as 3rd.   With a 133-10 high school record Craig was a 4X Region Champion, 4X District Champion and 4X Union County Champion.  He also placed 6th in the Cadet Freestyle Nationals.   Coach Frost will be helping with our soon to open Kenilworth location.
