Ashnault and Lewis Victorious at All Star Match

We want to congratulate Apex Wrestling School Alumni, Anthony Ashnault and Richie Lewis for picking up a pair of victories at this years NWCA All-Star Classic. Both are ranked in the Top 8 in the country for Rutgers University. Anthony defeated 2016 NCAA’s 141lb 2nd place finisher Bryce Meredith of Wyoming in overtime by a score of 8-6. Richie beat nationally ranked Joe LaVallee of Mizzouri by a score of 2-0.  By FloWrestling’s current rankings, Ashnault is ranked 4th in the country and Richie is ranked 7th. Apex Wrestlers make noise at Super 32

This past weekend over 20 Apex Wrestlers and 5 coaches made the trip to Greensboro, NC for the prestigious Super 32 wrestling tournament. Super 32 is considered the toughest folkstyle tournament in the country and features more nationally ranked wrestlers than any other folk-style tournament in the country. In total we had 1 champion, 5 place-finishers and two more athletes make the Rd. of 12 in the High School Division. Apex Alumni Geoghegan Joins Staff

Apex Wrestling School is very proud to announce that Gevin Geoghegan has joined our coaching staff. Devin is a long time Apex Wrestling School member. In High School he wrestled for David Brearley High School. He was a multiple time state place finisher and 2011 State Finalist. In the off-season he won multiple freestyle and greco-roman state championships, was a NHSCA All-American and a member of our first Pop-N-Flo teams including our first national championship team. If you haven’t heard of 6th grader Nicky Fea be prepared to seeing his name everywhere you look. Nick is a multiple time NY-USA Wrestling State Champion, a Journeymen Fall Classic Champion and this off-season has proven to be one of the best young wrestlers in the country.
