Apex Wrestling School would like to say Good Luck to the 9 former Apex members who qualified for the 2015 NCAA DIII National Championships.

Many of these athletes trained with use not only though their high school careers, but as youth wrestlers as well, and continue to come back into the room to give back.

The NCAA DIII National Championships start this weekend.

The championships will be held March 14-15 at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Elizabethtown will serve as the host.

A total of 180 participants will compete in the championships. Student-athletes qualified for the championship by placing top three in their respective weight classes at one of the six NCAA regional tournaments held on Feb. 28 and March 1. NCAA.com will stream all sessions

125lbs- Bobby Jordan (35-12) Johnson & Whales faces off against number 2 seed Lucas Malmberg (37-2) Messiah. Bobby has proven to be one of the best freshman recruits for Johnson & Wales and looks to cap off his season with an All-American finish.

133lbs- Justin Colon (27-9) from Johnson & Wales will wrestle the 4 seed Connor Campo (24-4) of Warburg first round. Justin is one of the winningest wrestlers in New Jersey history and a 4x state qualifier.

141- Returning All-American Mike Ferinde (33-8) Johnson & Wales will start his bid to repeat as an All-American against the 7 seed Matt Adcock (3-0) from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Mike was a multiple time NJ State Qualifier from Nutley High School.

157- Freshman standout Nick Velez earned the 8 seed with a 31-10 record for Ithaca. Nick starts his tournament against Alec Horan (16—7) from Delaware Valley. Nick has twice wrestled the number 1 kid in the country to a 1 point match. His senior year of high school (Westfield) Nick took 5th in the state and was a high school All-American.

165- Francisco Colom (33-4), Roger Williams, will start his tournament against the 5 seed, Jake Krogstad (21-8) from Concordia-Moorhead. Colom was a huge part of the Apex National Dual teams including helping us win the 2011 Pop-N-Flo National Championships.

Senior, CJ Caserta (41-7) from Stevens Institute will have to wrestle in an out-bracket first round against, 3 seed Dylan Foley (23-2) from Springfield. CJ is a multiple time qualifier and looks to grad his first NCAA All-American finish.

174- Returning 2X NCAA All-American and 3 seed Zach Zotollo (19-1), TCNJ, will kick off his last tournament of his college career against Mike Shermot (21-4) from the U.S Coast Guard Academy.  Zach took 6th in the 2014 National Championships and 4 in the 2013 Championships. Zach is one of the original Apex Wrestling School members. Good luck Zach!

197- Johnathan Secor (32-7), Lycoming, takes on Hunter Ayen (22-6) from Springfield in an out-bracket.
